WE ARE THE WORLD; “an incredible experience,” says Jeff Bridges

Academy award nominee Jeff Bridges says chumming it up with heavy hitters in the music industry for the updated version of “We Are the Word,” benefiting Haiti, was an incredible experience. Of course it was unbelievable – anything that gets Barbra Streisand out of hibernation is noteworthy, I mean, come on!  At any rate, Bridges says his participation in the benefit performance made him realize how close Haiti is to the United States.  Jeff says, “Here we are the wealthiest nation in the world and just a short plane ride away is unfathomable poverty and destruction.” His hopes are that this tragedy will wake us up and help us all to have a better relationship with the Haitians.
