Taylor Swift’s Super Flight

Taylor Swift has already been dubbed as being a super-potential add-in to “Vampire Diaries” and now she is taking super to a whole new level.  The country mega star is being touted to play the title role in “Supergirl – The Love Story.”  The film was originally made in 1984 and flopped like a freshly caught fish.  D-lister Helen Slater starred in the original alongside Faye Dunaway who took on her infamous role as Joan Crawford in “Mommie Dearest” just three years earlier.  Taylor Swift has it going on in many ways and can practically writer her ticket in Hollywood.  Is “Supergirl” the best role for her to soar?  Probably not.  In any case, the Grammy nominee will show us what she’s made of when she makes her acting debut in February with a small part in “Valentine’s Day” alongside her main squeeze Taylor Lautner of “Twilight” fame.
