Big stars hit the town to see Scissor Sisters

Pop world and Hollywood made time to see the Scissor Sisters Live in NYC.

The prince of glam rock, Adam Lambert took a break from his ‘Glam Nation’ tour and with pop princess Katy Perry the two went out in support of fellow pop-pal Jake Shears at the Scissor Sisters concert in New York City on Wednesday night (August 25). Later Katy Perry tweeted, “I (heart) Scissor Sisters!” Also in attendance were actresses Susan Sarandon and Parker Posey. For the after-party everyone hit the NYC hotspot Highbar. The event also benefited LIFEbeat, a non-profit organization utilizing the music industry to work towards HIV/AIDS prevention. For SC’s tour dates click HERE.

I wonder if the last name “Shears” had anything to do with them picking the name Scissor Sisters for their band. Anyway, I love their music and Night Work is their best work yet.
