Idol Without Simon? You crazy?

 Paula Abdul fans went to pieces when the emotionally verbose judge of “American Idol” left the show.  Can you imagine the reaction if Negative Nelly a.k.a. Simon Cowell vacated his seat on the show?  Simon’s brother Tony has let a little tiger out of the bag saying his sibling has plans to fly the coop and focus on his own projects.  Tony Cowell is reportedly saying the end of 2010 will likely bring about the end of his brother’s stint on the Fox show when Simon will pour all his energy into bringing his U.K. hit “X Factor” to the U.S.  The series is similar to Idol in that it uses viewer votes to find new singing talent. Simon is sitting pretty with $45 million for the upcoming season and neither Negative Nel nor Fox are commenting on the possible departure.
