Words cannot express the amount of respect we are feeling at the BNH office for Sean Penn…, at least in this tail end of the week. Yes, the man was in the news for a battery and assault charge earlier this week, but it is good to see him on the right path now and doing good deeds all over the place. TMZ reports that Penn was quite the hero in Haiti, on Thursday the 25th as he personally took on the task of saving lives. Penn drove over an hour, with his daughter Dylan to rescue a woman and a child who were badly injured under the rubble of a collapsed building due to an aftershock. Eyewitnesses say that Penn, who runs the Jenkins-Penn Haitian Relief Organization, personally helped saving the two victims and then drove them in his truck to the University of Miami hospital camp in the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince and waited there until they were treated for their injuries. He then drove them back to his place. Since the woman and the child have no place to go Penn won’t let them leave until they have a safe place to stay. Last week in an appearance on Larry King Live (CNN), Penn pleaded with America to “focus on Haiti and help save lives.” Sources report that the serious actor considers dropping out of the ‘Three Stooges’ movie because he is “not in a very funny state of mind right now.” – HenryK
