Rob Lowe is getting ready to write his memoir in an upcoming book called: “Stories I Only Tell My Friends.” Publisher Henry Holt and Company announced the book scheduled for a May 2011 release. Holt acquired the memoir as a submission in fall 2009 but waited to announce the news until a few chapters were completed. Stephen Rubin, president at Holt, says the project is “a mid-career meditation on his four decades as an actor.” It looks like the actor will reflect on his transition from teen idol to the movies and television, and open up about his family, fatherhood, and sobriety.
Washington Post also reports that Lowe is also teaming with production company 44 Blue on a TV reality project called Potomac Fever, In the flavor and recent trend of Washington D.C.-set reality shows: Top Chef and Real Housewives of D.C., Potomac will follow the lives of young residents trying to make it in the city.
