According to The Hollywood Reporter the growing cast of “New Year’s Eve” has just added Sarah Jessica Parker to its list. Other red-hot cast members include Jessica Biel, Lea Michele, Sofia Vergara, Hilary Swank, Ashton Kutcher, Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer.
Sassy Sarah will play Abigail Breslin’s (“Little Miss Sunshine”) mother.
Halle Berry and Zac Efron are also being chased to star in the film says the Reporter. Halle will star as a caterer and Zac as Michelle Pfeifer’s messenger boy who helps her achieve her NYE resolution. But I must say, not sure what to make of this film so far.
Garry Marshall the director of “Valentine’s Day” (2010) will be at helm on “New Year’s Eve.” judging how “VD” turned out, I won’t hold my breath. And you guessed it; this film too will have the same storyline of intertwining plots and character – plots? Characters? Are we still talking about “Valentine’s Day?”
Well, you know how that turned out…., and made lots of money. So, what do I know?
