We all knew this was coming; a movie about Prince William and Kate Middleton. Lifetime network snapped to it and a TV movie about the royal love affair is on its way.
People reports, playing Wills will be newcomer Nico Evers-Swindell, who is actually a New Zealander living in New York. At first, it sounded like mystery casting. So, we clicked away to his IMDB page to discover a list of bit parts on TV such as “NCIS: Los Angeles” (as the Blond Russian #1), “Law & Order.” And in the Mel Gibson movie “Edge of Darkness.”
The 30-something actor is edumakated, and aside from theatre training, has a law degree as well. He is not bad lookin’ either.
However the “look but don’t touch” policy applies since Nico’s got a fiancée. She too is an actress.
In addition, Nico is “a former Victoria University of Wellington student and, get this, his cousins are Olympic rowing champs Georgina and Caroline Evers-Swindell.
Who plays Kate, you ask? Actress Camilla Luddington got the call for that one. More to come about her. Brit actor Richard Reid will play a more fictional character named “Ian,” William’s BFF, who in real life is named Guy Pelly.
