Leonardo DiCaprio is #1 on 2010′s highest earning movie star

Leonardo DiCaprio was named #1 on the Forbes’ list of 2010’s Top-Grossing Actors. Leo’s films have made $1.1 billion in box office sales.

Two of Di-Cap’s movies, Shutter Island and Inception, were among the top 15 highest-earning films globally.

Inception came in third with $825 million box office power. Shutter Island earned $295 million, according to Forbes.  DiCaprio will earn a good $50 million solely for his work on Inception.

In the #2 spot was rising star Mia Wasikowska, (21) who tied with Johnny Depp at $1.03 billion for her role in The Kids Are All Right and then as Alice in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland which earned a whopping $1 billion at the global box office – the second highest earning in 2010.
