(Professor) James Franco to teach at Yale

James Franco is getting ready for a completely different role – teaching his own “special” class in January, at Yale University!!! Whaaaat?? In addition to a creative writing degree from UCLA, and masters of fine arts diploma in filmmaking from New York University, the writer, artist, actor will begin studying at Yale in September for his Ph.D in English and film studies. Franco’s first art show is now on display in Tribeca. And, in August he will star opposite the Julia Roberts in the movie Eat Pray Love where Franco plays a rebound boyfriend. 
This week he told Good Morning America (video here): “I am going to teach at Yale. It’s in the works. I have a very special class I will be teaching next January.”
Seen fast asleep at in a 2009 photo by tmz at Columbia university (oh, we just kiddin’); we know all eyes (and ears) will be wide open during professor Franco’s lectures.
