More Gazillions for Cameron with “Avatar 2 and 3”?

King of the Movie World James Cameron is at it again thinking of how to make magic with a sequel to his blockbuster “Avatar.”  Before that happens, Jimbo hopes to get a book out.  He thinks “Avatar” fans have a craving for back-story on the main characters and he is itching to give it to them.  What will likely result is the “Avatar” trilogy so it looks like two more movies will be shot back-to-back.  Thank goodness they are shooting both at the same time otherwise Jim, also nicknamed “Slowie,” might keep fans waiting for many a year to get their complete “Avatar” fix.  Just who nicknamed him “Slowie,” you may ask?  Me.  Any who, since the original film earned over $2 billion worldwide it isn’t much of a gamble to pop out two more flicks.  Coupling his box office success with the fact that the director’s “Titanic” made over $1 billion back in 1997, a sequel and/or prequel is a safe bet for any major studio. James is busy making notes on how to keep the franchise rolling in the dough as he gears up for the re-release of the film which will feature nine minutes of new footage when it opens in theaters August 27th.  If you enjoyed the look of the Navi world created in the first film you are sure to enjoy the next two.  Cameron says there will be an emphasis on both rainforest and ocean settings in Pandora. He also hopes his stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana will return but at this point everything is up in the air.  Another good reason to film “Slowie’s” movies back-to-back – actors tend to age through the years.  Can you image imagine if James created all the “Harry Potter” movies?  With all the films in that doozy of a franchise Harry would be an old man by the time all the filming wrapped.  And for you “Titanic” fans Jack and Rose will be coming back and next time the same ship of dreams from 1997 will be in 3-D.  Millions, billions and more billions.  It’s a living, right James?
