Hugh Dancy talks about naughty inventions

In the latest of Entertainment Weekly Hugh Dancy and Maggie Gyllenhaal are seen in a still from their recently wrapped “Hysteria” – directed by Tanya Wexler. In Hugh Dancy’s words the film is “about how the Victorian medical community invented the vibrator as a therapeutic massage device. There’s no other way to put it”. Nice pitch, Hugh!!!  Maggie Gyllenhaal adds: “It’s mischievous and there’s something kind of naughty about it – but it’s not dirty. It feels like one of those witty old movies from the 40s.” Dancy plays a doctor and Gyllenhaal his main squeeze.
