Top contenders to play Peter Parker aka: Spider-Man in the re-newal of this franchise include Jamie Bell, Aaron Johnson, Alden Ehrenreich, Andrew Garfield, Anton Yelchin, Logan Lerman, Frank Dillane and Michael Angerano. Columbia Pictures to begin filming before the year is over as they have secured a July 3, 2012 release date. The decision must be made any day now.
