It’s official. Britney Spears will be the subject of a GLEE episode, and in fact, the whole thing is already on the fast track. According to reports by Entertainment Tonight, the singer may not make an actual appearance, but her music sure will. This much has been confirmed by creator Ryan Murphy who is currently writing the Britney tribute episode.
It has been no secret that Britney is a big fan, has confessed her love of Glee publicly, and let everyone to know how badly she wanted to make a guest appearance.
Murphy has previously announced that there will be two tribute episodes per season, one in the spring and one in the fall. If the Britney episode is already tribute #1, then who will be a shoe in for tribute #2. Hmm, a hint of Michael Jackson perhaps, is what has been rumored.
