Bad Boy Pettyfer? How recent incidents may categorize Alex Pettyfer as “persona non grata”

Despite being told by his agents not to go to a pre-Oscars party, “I Am Number Four” star, Alex Pettyfer, still showed up at the event unannounced and uninvited – reports US Weekly.

Now, the up-and-coming actor’s future may be in jeopardy, and we’re talking him possibly getting dumped by his agency, because of his recent erratic behavior.

In a recent split from his girlfriend, co-star Dianna Agron (24), Pettyfer (20) reportedly exploded in a jealous rage on Feb. 18, at a club in West Hollywood club.

Additional reports by Us Weekly indicate that the young actor is gaining quite a reputation as a “loose cannon” and that Agron is “terrified” of him. Quickly after their split, the actress checked into an unnamed hotel under an alias to feel safer.

Agron was at the same Oscars pre-party and Pettyfer’s agents seem to have the right idea by advising their client against not to attend.

“His agents told him not to go to the Feb. 26 Night Before party,” a source told Us Magazine. Agron was present at the star-studded Hollywood event, and get this; she was seen flirting with actor Chris Evans.

Ah, (some) English actors and their rage. If an academy award winning actor like Christian Bale, with more than a few films under his belt can’t get away with his signature “Bale-istic” behavior, it’s doubtful that a newcomer like Pettyfer can survive the Hollywood backlash that this kind of unstable reputation can bring.

In fact, this rebellious disobedience may cost Pettyfer his career. The word on the street is that William Morris considers dropping him as a client because he’s unmanageable. However, a rep at the agency claims that Pettyfer is “still a client.”

Last month, The Hollywood Reporter stated in a report that Pettyfer went into “protest mode” when DreamWorks would not renegotiate a part of his demands in a deal for “I am number four.”
