Jeff Bridges gears up for TRON 2; December 2010

Jeff Bridges who has been married to his wife Susan for 33 years consistently brags that the two have the perfect union.  The Oscar winner says when he gets overloaded with his career Susan and his children bring him back down to earth. He says, “She holds that kite string when I go way out there and it’s so sweet being reeled back in.  My girls are the tail on the kite that keeps me centered.  Next up for Jeff, a blast to the past as he steps back into the shoes of his character Kevin Flynn from 1982’s TRON in TRON 2 (aka: Tron Legacy) due in theaters in December.  I am guessing he won’t be the hot lead this time but maybe someone’s dad.  No music in that film and Bridges sure loves his tunes.  One of the reasons he took on his Oscar winning role in “Crazy Heart” is because he loved the film’s melodies so much.  Coupling music with film is the ideal project for Jeff.  The actor says the art forms can cause great change in the world and he loves being a part of that positive transformation. – Charlie Reeves
